Troy Bernard has been working in the medical field since 2014. As an Army veteran, he found a passion for mental health while working with veterans. He then decided to focus on mental health after working with children who had a history of trauma. Troy has worked in inpatient, outpatient, and residential programs. Troy earned his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree from Frontier Nursing University.
Troy believes in using a combination of medications and coping skills to treat people. Troy is an advocate for increasing mental health awareness and treatment in Southern Utah. Troy and his wife have 5 wonderful children. He enjoys watching movies, building legos, most outdoor activities, and enjoys spending time with his family.
