Jena Thomas is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a compassionate team member here at the St. George Children and Family Psychiatric Center. Her life changed after losing her husband to a four-year battle with ALS. In 2014 she decided to dedicate herself to helping others. She found a deep passion to help ease the burden that mental illness challenges to those around her.
Jena received a post-master’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification. Where she received her post-graduate education through the Johns Hopkins University program. This allows her to treat patients of all ages, including children and adolescents.
You’ll find her compassionate and evidence-based approach very beneficial and inviting. Adding to her dedicated approach to help patients overcome these mental health challenges.
Before moving to Southern Utah, Jena lived in Washington, Germany, Hawaii, and Kentucky. She enjoys fitness, teaching spin classes, watching football and enjoying life with her daughter. Who has managed to coerce her into becoming the proud owner of a dog, a hedgehog, two goats and four chickens.
